Chocolate Angel Food Cake

Ingredients

2 cups sugar

2 Tbsp water

1 cup cake flour

1 tsp vanilla

½ cup cocoa

1 tsp cream of tartar

12 egg whites

½ tsp salt

Directions

Sift sugar four times. Sift flour and cocoa 5 times. Add water to egg whites. Beat until foamy. Add cream of tartar. Beat until stiff. Fold sugar into egg whites 2 tbsp at a time. Bake about 50 minutes in a slow oven.
